How do these events work? Who are these events for?

These events are for anyone that is either looking for a job or looking to fill a job.


The way these events work is that you will get a nametag at the door. If you are looking for work you will choose a nametag with a red dot. You would then write your name with the type of position that you are looking for. If you are looking to hire then you will get a green dot and then you write your name and the type of position that you looking to fill. If you are just there for fun then you get a nametag with a star on it. There is no cover charge to attend these events.

What companies are going to attend?
Outside of sponsorsing companies we normally do not know which green dot (those that are hiring) will attend the event. On average it ranges from as low as 10% to as high as 20% of those attending are looking to hire.

What is the Dress Code?

We tell people to wear what they feel best in. The attire ranges from business suits to cocktail dresses to casual to crazy costumes.

Should I Bring a Resume?

We recommend that if you are at this event bring copies of your resume, pens and blank business cards.
What has been popular is the mini-resumes printed on folded business cards. These are called "Networking cards" and they are a great tool in the job hunt.
